Chapterstack is a writing workspace for any kind of book — short or long, fiction or non-fiction. Use it either as a private writing tool, keeping every chapter to yourself until you are ready to publish elsewhere, or as a way to build an audience chapter by chapter as you write. The platform works the same either way.
Your writing is always yours.
Chapterstack never claims exclusive rights over your work. There is no exclusivity clause, no revenue cut on sales made outside the platform, no lock-in. Your words belong to you.
Publish here and on Amazon KDP, Wattpad, your own website, or anywhere else — at the same time. Once you choose to make a chapter public here on Chapterstack and readers can see it, that published version stays on the platform — but you remain the author, free to write, revise, and sell your work through any channel you choose.
Write anywhere, even without a connection
Chapterstack works fully offline — on a plane, a train, or anywhere without Wi-Fi. Your writing, notes, and attachments are saved to your device as you type and sync automatically when you're back online.
